Now the competition in the EPL is no longer about fighting for the trophy, the teams ranked 2 to 7 will compete with each other to win tickets to the UCL. This season's competition is more competitive than the previous season, the very small difference in points between the teams means they have to compete until the end of the season to get the 4 remaining tickets.
Arsenal only need one more win to secure a ticket, while the other three tickets are still up for grabs by City, Nottingham, Newcastle, Chelsea and Aston Villa.
This is one of the most competitive champions league qualification race we have seen in recent years, having about 5 - 6 teams fight for just 4 spot is very interesting and they are all just one or two points ahead of one another and that means we will have to wait for the final match day to be able to decide who will qualify for the champions league or not.
Arsenal to me have already secured a spot but if they still want maintain the 2 place then they will have to maintain good results for a couple of matches to claim the 2nd spot. Now the rest team will have to fight for the 3 remaining spot, Nottingham Forest, Newcastle, Manchester City, Chelsea and even Aston Villa seems to be in the race too. It will be a very tight call and a strong fight as no team looks stronger at the moment.
