Those guys that consider bitcoin investment as a high risk investment are those people who don't know the difference between bitcoin investment and shitcoins because they think bitcoin investment is more like shitcoin investment that easily get dump after hyping must have taken place. Talking about volatile nature, obviously  the market itself is very volatile, but the volatile nature of bitcoin is quite different from that of other crypto currencies, so I don't think if that should be the reason why those guys keep considering  bitcoin as a high risk investment.


As a investor that you're there are some certain things you don't need to argue with your friends, because most argument is not worth it. if you try to explain to them and they refuse to give you a listening ear why don't you Walk away and save our time or better still use it for something else that can add a good value to your Life. Because if you keep listening to those thier (side talks) you might probably get poisoned that's if you're this set that don't trust bitcoin that much.
