Or how do you set your budget in the first place, do you do it monthly or weekly or it is per session?
Now everyone should set a budget for gambling, if you gamble randomly without setting a budget, you will face huge losses.
Surely if you don't set your budget or limits then you gonna face loses. But despite that, most people would still lose more because they will bet above their budget.

Now everyone's budget is not the same, some set a weekly budget, some set a monthly budget. In my case, I set a monthly budget, I allocate 3-4% of my income for gambling.
Setting budget depends on your source of income for example if you recieve payment weekly, you may decide to set budget base on weekends. Like me I preffear setting budget weekly than monthly because if I remove %2 of my income for gambling in each each week, I will not feel it that much, but if I allow it to reach the end of the month, I may think it's too big for me because it will become %8. In his case I preffear weekly to monthly.
Now if the budget is over before the end of a month, then I stop gambling. Again at the end of the month I set a budget and start gambling. In this way, I set a budget for my gambling and spend on gambling which does not affect me financially.
