My gambling budget is flexible and adjusted weekly. If I had a good week, I increase the next week's budget by 10% of my base amount, which is $300. But if it was a rough week and I lost money from the base, I keep playing with a reduced amount until it recovers back to the original $300. That said,  such scheme applies only to online gambling. When I visit land based casinos I stick to a fixed budget of $1000 each time regardless of previous outcomes.
