This one have been a really good game from tipoff up until this moment, 3 minutes gone in the 4th Quarter, Timberwolves are up by 3 points. It’s been going back and forth, Lakers might need Luka Doncic to be more effective in the 4th here if they are to win against this Minnesota’s defense. He’s been more busy talking to the refs than actually communicating with his teammates 🙄
That’s really the problem with Luka, his lack of defense. That’s a big reason why Dallas let him go. No problem with his offense, he’s exceptional there, but he can’t afford to relax when his team isn’t strong defensively. Maybe before they could beat teams like the Wolves because his old teammates were solid on defense, especially inside. But now, they don’t have that luxury anymore.
He's attitude which he complains on miss call is their problem. He need to take that out and just focus on the game rather than paying attention on things that they cannot control.
But I doubt that's the reason why Dallas let him go. I always believe that they don't want to pay him a super max contract so that reasoning is somehow less reason on why Dallas decide to do that.
Lakers really in big trouble with this if they keep doing these things. They need to focus and try to give the best performance they can since Wolves want to destroy them badly and advance on the next round.
