After many years of loyalty and giving his all to Leicester city, Jamie Vardy has decided to leave Leicester city after it has been confirmed that Leicester has been relegated to the championship, the second division of English football. My question is why is he leaving now that he has successfully succeeded in sending Leicester back to relegation. This is not the right moment for him to leave the club. He should have stick with them and make sure he brings them out of of relegation before leaving. The fans will perceive this as a betrayal. Although Jamie Vardy has done enough for the club to command the respect of the fans of Leicester city. He is leaving the club as a legend that's for sure. But to me the timing of his departure doesn't seem right to me.
Jamie Vardy will forever be regarded as a legend and a hero in the hearts of all Leicester supporters and the club. Vardy has given everything possible for the club and achieved the unthinkable for the club as well. I remember Leicester City getting relegated the first time after winning the EPL league trophy and some key players left the club but he stayed back and fought to bring them back to the EPL, he is surely leaving the club as a legend.
