I hope so. I mean, that's what everybody wants. For Bitcoin to become the next digital Gold. But for that to work, governments, banks, and institutional investors need to ditch Gold for good. Such a transition doesn't happen overnight. BTC will get there at a slow and steady pace.
A few days ago we even passed google and became one of the largest assets in terms of market capitalization and became the 5th largest global asset even though google is currently overtaking bitcoin again but in the end, the longer we can even see that bitcoin is growing and it is certain that there will be more and more adoptions that are used as a reference to make something that seems impossible even possible.
We never thought bitcoin would be like this in the past but now that they are one of the largest global assets owned it is clear that there will be more hope in the future for bitcoin to continue to grow and develop even beyond our expectations.
But on the other hand of course we must also realize that this is related to time so that now maybe bitcoin cannot do that but as long as time is still rolling and bitcoin still stays with their focus as it is today and adoption is increasing then it is not impossible that in the end bitcoin can become the next digital gold.
