Chelsea managed to keep the lead until the final whistle was blown, poor goal scoring but all that matters is staying home with 3 points taken from the away side. Chelsea are not comfortable where they are above the table, Nottingham Forest and Newcastle still have outstanding games to play and if both teams win, Chelsea will be moved backwards to 5th place.
Currently, Chelsea has dropped to fifth place in the standings because Newcastle has won by one goal even though there is still time for the second half, but I am not sure Ipswich can equalize with the condition of the players who are no longer complete. And if Nottingham Forest wins again in the 34th match, Chelsea will drop back to sixth place because at this time the competition in the Champions League zone is getting tighter so that teams like Chelsea still have to fight hard to be able to achieve a much better position in the rest of this season.
