In UEFA semi finals, competition will be at it's peak because every team will be giving it's best there. In quarter finals we saw Dortmund and Aston Villa lost in first leg by huge margin and they came showed good performance in second leg. Dortmund and Aston Villa were eliminated only because of bad show in first leg of quarter finals. There are two legs in semi finals also, every team has a chance to make a come back in case of bad performance in first leg. I am interested to see good contest in semi finals regardless of who makes it to the final.
Real Madrid were also effectively out of the tournament after the first game - it's possible to recover from a 0-3 deficit, but not when your team has been suffering from an injury epidemic all season. In fact, one pair of the four was interesting in the second game and they didn't disappoint - 2-2 is a great score for a deciding game. The semi-finals look more even, the intrigue is unlikely to disappear after the first game, a draw or a minimal victory of any of the teams (unless it's Inter haha) will not mean anything.
