Chelsea was lucky to win this game and secured three points, if not they would have been left out in the qualifying race to the Champions League next season. I was expecting more goals from Chelsea in this match, but they couldn't after they got their first and only goal scored by Jackson on the 27th minutes of the first half. However, the blues deserves the victory.
The blues having this victory is another great sign that they are not backing down in the fight for the champions league top four positions. They might be a point away from that position but there is still a big hope for them to make it to the champions league. What made Chelsea to be in this position now is lack of consistency in the game, they started well and we all thought they will be in close competition for the premier league trophy but unfortunately they couldn’t as their performance was so poor that they can do anything about the fight but settle now for this. The top four fight is getting more interesting and until the end of the season, we may not see a team prevailing over the other.
Chelsea performed really well today, they beat Everton who since David Moyes take over have proven to be a problem for some of the top Premier League teams. Luckily for Chelsea they created many chances but as usual Everton will defend and stop you from scoring but good thing the only goal they were able to score was enough to secure the win for them.
