I believe Manchester United will bottle the only opportunity they have to qualify for the champions league next season even as they seem to be more interested in the Europa league. It was a narrow escape against Lyon and I believe Manchester United will always be the same when they play Bilbao because they might not have same luck as they had with Lyon.
Yes, with the level of inconsistency Manchester United is displaying this season, I don’t also think they can confidently win the Europa League despite the fact that it is their easiest route to the Champions League because they don’t have any hope in the Premier League as they are below the top tenth position in the Premier League due to their inconsistent performance in the Premier League.
Manchester United can still win the Europa League if they can defeat Atletico Bilbao in the semifinal, because they can defeat Tottenham in the final even though they are of the same level of performance this season.
