Hello

Just read that Russia is planning to open its own official Bitcoin and crypto exchange 👀

Like another country getting into crypto could mean better global trading volumes yea?

Maybe even new gateways for traders?

Does it also mean that it will boost global or state-level Bitcoin adoption, or complicate things because of tighter surveillance and control?

Your Opinion?

Russian money services were popular in my country and to be fair, they weren't bad. Russians have a very good talent pool of designer and developers, lots of Russian IT guys work in US companies and create good products. If Russia creates a crypto exchange that will be managed by the government, it will be good to use but bad for the customer in terms of privacy. Russia will track its customers from head to toe but if they make it international, then I think they'll allow easy registration and usage for global customers because I believe the idea behind their exchange will be to upset the USA and let some US-hated criminals to launder money.
