When Arsenal was supposed to fight really hard, it did not, and this has been its normal habit of cold and hot moments in seasons, so I don't pity the club. It has been 3 missed opportunities to lift the EPL trophy, it's the same issue, instead of being hot from the beginning to the end. It was an arch rivary between it and Man City before, but when Man City is not in form, it's now Liverpool that's the problem. Is it a curse that they should not win the Premier League?
You have a point, but there are multiple reasons behind their below-average performances in the EPL this season... If we forget about the number of injuries they had this season and the bad form of some of their important players [e.g. Ødegaard], then all that is left [apart from their board not signing a striker] is to blame the PGMOL who has cost Arsenal a lot of points [there seems to be little to no consequences for errors made by match officials and VAR staff], so it's not a curse [corruption at its finest]!
Well, I only asked if it's a curse or something, I knew fully well that it's their fault and circumstance beyond their control. But to be clear, I don't give any club the excuse of wrong officiating for their overall performance. If it happens, it's once in a while, and if they are exceptional on the field, they will certainly still win even in the face of wrong officiating. It's not the same officials all the time.

Again, I understand the management this time, they've done well enough in buying players recently, Arsenal do not spend money unnecessarily, even when they win the trophy. What has Chelsea and Man U achieved despite spending more? And yes, injury is another issue for them, aside from Ødegaard, Saka was a very good player they missed this season. But can't Arsenal plan for contingencies? Besides, it was the same pattern in the last 2 seasons when injuries were not the excuse.
