Have you ever been in that situation too?
Optimism is something that must be maintained, I mean if we can lose even though we are optimistic at the beginning we will bet, especially if we are pessimistic from the beginning, because with an optimistic mind, we will be able to think well to make decisions, for example in sports betting we can carefully analyze before making a decision.
However, being optimistic does not mean that we can avoid defeat, because in gambling there are other factors that players do not know, and I often experience being optimistic that the team will win but then lose.
Being optimistic or pessimistic in gambling changes nothing, several times I come across some sports games which after doing some analysis, I get confused and still dont know which team to put my bet more, and when finally I choose a team and bet on them, after some time even when the match is yet to start, I go back to that slip and get pessimistic with the team I betted on, wishing I had choosed the other team instead, I begin to regret and simply count that bet slip as a loss already.
But amazingly, such bet slip most of the time are often the ones I end up winning, while most of those ones I was optimistic about end up losing.
Now, I am not saying that this is how it plays out for me all the time, no no, but it does happen like this from time to time, and what this teaches is that being optimistic or pessimistic doesn't matter when it comes to gambling, a gambler who will lose will lose regardless, and who will win will also win regardless.
