Barcelona don’t need Alvarez. There is just 5% possibility that Atletico Madrid will ever sell Alvarez to Barcelona. Barcelona will have to look elsewhere for options in that position, there are strikers not who are not so expensive that Barcelona can get other than Alvarez because Atletico Madrid will want to get a fortune back from Alvarez’s sale if they decide to sell.
I will understand perfectly if you say Barcelona should move a way from Alvarez because of the financial crisis surrounding them because right now I see Alvarez valuation definitely getting close to £100m because Atletico spent around £80m on him just last season and with his incredible start to his Spanish career he is definitely gonna get better. So the finance is the only thing that Barcelona should be staying away from but if it is interms of importance I will say Barcelona seriously needs a striker really bad and to be honest there is none out there that fits this Barcelona pattern of play than Julien Alvarez. He can easily come into the team and break into it and also adapt easily. If Barcelona wins the champions league I think it will help grow their finances a little bit then they should consider going for the Argentine who I know will be easily convinced to come due to his Idol Messi’s connection with the club
