Although Nottingham is a tough opponent, I think Manchester City will beat them. Because Manchester City only has the FA Cup left to win. Liverpool will win the Premier League and Manchester City does not want to finish the season without a trophy. So I think they will be in this match with their entire squad and will fight to win the match no matter what. Crystal Palace managed to be the first finalist in the match they played yesterday. If Manchester City wins this match, they will most likely win the cup.
As predicted Manchester City defeated Nottingham Forest by two goals to nil to seal their spot in the FA cup final where they will be facing Crystal Palace. Manchester City are already favorites to win in this final but I am not totally writing off Crystal Palace though because with the way they displaced Aston Villla we might be in for a show.
After Manchester City failed in the Champions League and failed to retain the Premier League title, of course Manchester City turned their focus to the FA Cup. So it was no surprise when they managed to beat Nottingham Forest very convincingly in the semi-finals and made it to the final against Crystal Palace.
Manchester City always know what to do and play the game to win. By making it to the FA Cup final, Manchester City can end the season by winning the title and that means a lot compared to what they fought for this year.
Interestingly, this is the 3rd time in a row Manchester City have entered the FA Cup final and I think Manchester City will be the champions this season. Not to underestimate Crystal Palace, but with the squad that Manchester City has, it is very difficult for Crystal Palace to withstand the onslaught of Manchester City who are very ambitious to end the season with one trophy.
