Barcelona don’t need Alvarez. There is just 5% possibility that Atletico Madrid will ever sell Alvarez to Barcelona. Barcelona will have to look elsewhere for options in that position, there are strikers not who are not so expensive that Barcelona can get other than Alvarez because Atletico Madrid will want to get a fortune back from Alvarez’s sale if they decide to sell.

If Barcelona can afford Julian Alvarez they should go for him. I have always said it that Atletico Madrid is not suitable for him. Julian Alvarez is a player that like playing in a club where he will win trophies and this is something we are sure Atletico Madrid can't give to him. Secondly Atletico Madrid is a selling club and they will sell to Barcelona if Barcelona come up with an offer they can't refuse. This won't be the first time that they are going to sell a prolific player to Barcelona. In the past they have sold Antonio Griezman and Arda Turan to Barcelona, so I don't see any difference with that of Julian Alvarez won't be any different provided Barcelona come up with their asking price.
