Usually I will check the trading volume of the token, price history is in 1 month, and if they have social media, check their posts, to find out what they are working on, but this is if I trade on a token that is relatively new, if I trade on a token or coin that is already quite stable and has a high trading volume on many big exchanges, then only look at the price movement within a certain period of time.
