In past few months, I heard a lot about "AI coins" and I couldn't understand them correctly.
As far as I know, they are a very special form of utility token right? So what is their actual purpose? The holder can spend them on AI services? or they're just a way of finding investment or funds for AI projects? or both?
For specific projects (ChainGPT for example) I know that I can go with the whitepaper, but currently I just got a little confused about what makes them different from other utility tokens?
Regards.

The actual purpose of AI coins may be to make money by its developers and the same goes for most of the altcoins in the industry. An altcoin is being made/minted keeping its insane ROI in case the coins hits the people expectations. Usually, most of the coins have a very good White Paper and roadmap, but many of them do not follow them and cease to exist in some cases in mid to long term. Since there is a narrative of AI these days, people tend to launch AI coins with no use case whatsoever but to make money.
