Maybe next season will not be easy for Arne Slot and his Liverpool squad. Because I think teams that have experienced a decline in performance this season could recover and return to their best form next season. I think several teams that will be strong challengers next season apart from Liverpool are Chelsea, Arsenal, Newcastle and maybe Man City. Next season, all teams will definitely make better adjustments and they will definitely have learned from what happened this season.
In fact, who knows, maybe Man United and Tottenham will also rise next season. But to fight for the title I doubt these two teams. They will be better but maybe not for the title next season. Moreover, I predict that Man United will make many changes to their squad which will take their club into a transition and adaptation period that could last a long time.
You are correct, this season many teams we expected would display that hunger for the title dropped form and it made it easy for Liverpool to win the title, no much pressure, it was an opportunity given to Slot and he could not reject it because the teams he saw as threat like Manchester City, Aston Villa, Newcastle, Chelsea and the others could not live up to expectations and again these mentioned clubs were busy in the transfer market while Slot got one player hardly make the team (maybe from next season, talking about Chiesa) and Slot made use of the players he met at the club so I'd say he did very well more than the other managers and he deserve the progress in his first season.
Man UTD and Spurs can do well next season but it can only happen if they end this season well with a trophy and the trophy we're talking about is the Europa league where we have both teams in the semis so who's going to get it or who looks stronger to be the Champions? See, that's where the power to become title contenders for next season or the team to do well like you said. Let's hope 2 English teams get to the finals, is been a while since we saw two power house in the EPL play an European finals.
