However, if he starts to be terrible, how are they going to pay for 3+ year contract while also sacking him and getting someone else. There was a moment in Barcelona history where they were paying three different managers, they do not want that to happen again. Even with what they achieved this season, that doesn't mean they are trusting anyone anymore. Look at Xavi, great on first season, not so good on his second season.
