Arsenal hosted PSG at home in the Champions League semi-final first leg.Arsenal didn't play very well and lost in this match.PSG got an important away win with a goal scored by Ousmane Dembele in the 4th minute.PSG is likely to eliminate Arsenal with this advantageous score. I expected Arsenal to win against them, but I don't think they played the game they wanted to.With Liverpool already the champions in the league, they need to put all their focus here. This may be a troubling score, but it is not impossible to turn it around. They still have a chance to get through the round with a better game away.

I wonder why some people are saying Arsenal did not play well yesterday, Arsenal played well yesterday is just that they didn’t find it easy the way they thought it would be against PSG, before the match Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta stated that as far as they beat Real Madrid they can beat any team but PSG show them that football is unpredictable and if not because Real Madrid is not in good shape this season Arsenal can not even reach the semi-final, Arsenal did not expect PSG to be a strong opponent.

The second leg of the match will be PSG home and we know that PSG has a big advantage over Arsenal, when PSG is playing at home they are more dangerous than away, I don’t know why some people underrate PSG this season because PSG play in League 1 but this PSG is very good and they deserve some respect, currently for me PSG is the favorite to win Champions League because they are the only team that can also beat Barcelona.

You make some solid points! I agree that Arsenal played better than some give them credit for, but PSG's early goal definitely threw them off. It’s a tough lesson in how unpredictable football can be. Arteta’s confidence in Arsenal is admirable, but as you pointed out, they didn’t expect PSG to be such a tough opponent, especially given their strong squad this season.

PSG’s home advantage in the second leg will be crucial. They’re a completely different beast when playing at Parc des Princes, and with their solid form in the league, they’ve proven they deserve respect. While Arsenal still has a chance, PSG is looking like the favorites to progress, and honestly, they’re a strong contender for the Champions League this season. Their squad depth and experience could give them the edge, even against top teams like Barcelona.
