I don't think the home advantage will count for anything. PSG dominated the game in the first twenty minutes. Arsenal grew into the game and dominated the second half. They should be able to take that positive to the second leg in France and put pressure on PSG from kickoff.
A one-goal lead is very easy to recover from; the boys do not need to lose their heads.
Declan Rice did not have that freedom of being able to run forward because of Partey's absence. With Partey in the second leg, Arsenal has got a better chance.
Declan Rice was the perfect number 8 during the game against Real Madrid because he had Thomas Partey right behind him giving him that freedom but yesterday? He struggled as Neves, Fabian Ruiz and Vitinha dominated the midfield completely. The champions of league one had loopholes and if they don't work on that, they'll be exploited greatly. Also, Nuno Mendes did absolutely great to tame down Saka last night, it was some easypeasy job for him to handle. Martinelli and Trossasd did snooze when they shouldn't have.
Agreed, Rice had less freedom without Partey, and PSG’s midfield really controlled the game. Nuno Mendes did an excellent job on Saka, while Martinelli and Trossard didn’t step up when needed. Arsenal can still bounce back in the second leg if they tighten their midfield and find a way to break PSG’s defense
