Absolutely, a lot of people think that school doesn't worth it. If I will answer your first question, I will said a capital "Yes" the reason is because of the failure of the educational system, there are countless graduates on the ground that could not secure a better job. They will spend a huge amount of money on schooling, they will study very hard to get a better results, and graduate with good grade. But at the end of the day they will not be able to secure a better job. After all their hard work, efforts, time, dedication and money spent, they all go in vain. This is so disappointing and it makes a lot of people lost their belive in the statement "Education is the key". That is why they prefer skills over education.
In most cases, it is the strategy of the graduate how he can find a better job or at least earn a decent income. The job won't come after them but they need to find a way how to get out of their comfort zone and use their expertise to look for a decent employment. If he has the means, he can always venture in a business.
Education can be said to be one of the accesses that someone can take and then skills that are important things that will be used when going directly to work. Education is equally important, therefore I think it would be better to balance the two.
If this kind of question, as if these are 2 different things and also contradictory. In fact, we should align the two. Logically, how can we separate 2 good things in life, then what needs to be done is to utilize or dig deeper into both.
As much as possible then i do agree on what you have said that it should be that getting in line rather than on trying out to make up some comparison in between but we do know that each person does have that different situation when it comes into this aspect on which there are those who are focusing on education but having that lack of skills but the good thing when you do have a degree is that you can be able to land up some job on which it will be basing up into the course on what you have got and since everyone starts up on becoming a newbie or starter then acquiring skills is on which this will be the primary step that you can be able to obtain out such skills on which this isnt that a bad career to take or lets say this is something inevitable because learning up new skills cant be directly that be implemented it out directly on a certain person without knowing it.
For those people who doesnt have that proper education but having that specific skills on which do able to make them capable on searching up some jobs then they could actually be having the advantage.
It is really just that there are those times that they arent that getting qualified because of lacking some education on which we know that when it comes to competition then we do have that fierce one one which landing up a job will be that challenge. This is where you do really need up to consider on finishing up some education in getting in line with some skills on which it will be putting you up into some edge in compared to other persons and since getting a job is hard then it will be definitely be need up that qualifications.
