Personally, I believe that Arsenal have already secured their spot on the table and no club below them can take it from them. Newcastle is on the third position and only them can be a threat to Arsenal if they lose more than one more match. However, the second position has been Arsenal's birth rite for a couple of seasons now.
Although you're right but I think arsenal should don better than they are doing now, must they struggle for the premier league title race all the season, why can't they do something to break out from what I called heavy lapses that keep reoccurring every season, always trying to maintain the second or third position every season or do they see those positions as the competition title itself, if not for the underperformce of Manchester city which we can't explain what prompted such poor form of theirs, I think they would've have been in the second position with good points and goal difference hence Liverpool decided not to create a lopehole with the help of arsenal not ready to make may good improvement then too.
For now I don't have much to say again, I don't even want to know who want to overtake them or who won't, my concern they should improve next season to attract lift that title because it is obvious that they need it.
