Most probably, we will see similar steps from them if the new users also manage to maintain profit through the tournament prizes. Duelbits team hasn't changed the rules of the tournaments yet. I believe they will bring changes in the tournament rules if similar thing happens again. Let's wait and see.
Looking at the current leaderboard while it is already 2+ days running, the top player earn less than 90k points while in the past top players had earned more than 100k points already in the first 2-3 days.
I'm not sure why, whether the interest is already less than before or maybe duelbits make a change on their system which make players are now unable to play the same game in multiple tabs, that's why the current top players earn less points than before.
The current first position player is someone who managed to win the 1st prize in the last 2 original tournaments, he was on top 5 on the other older weekly original tournaments before he started to win the 1st position in a row.
Hope he wont be excluded/banned later if he continues to win the tournament especially if he is on decent profit in overall statistic since he started joining the tournament.
There could have been changes in the system that made this happens else we would have seen such high score by now. What I also do not understand till now is if playing on multiple tab was the offense of those users who were banned from the tournaments and if Duelbits even specified that as an infringement to the tournament. Maybe the new users are playing fairly and according to the rules which is why we are seeing the lower points as I don't want to believe its because of reduced interest in the tournaments.
