The OP doesn't have the potential of saving a person's life. Why not? Because if nothing else, all people die of old age. All it might do is prolong life a little.
The only Person Who had the strength to raise Himself from death was the Jesus of the Bible. The God Who created this universe in 6 days, gave Jesus the strength to raise Himself.
Jesus is alive now, and offers this authority to average people who believe in Him. The difference is that they will have to wait for His return to see it manifested in themselves.
While it is true that all the wars are wasted energy, place your trust in Jesus rather than in fear of what you see going on around you. Then tell others about their Savior, Jesus, and you will receive extra benefit from Jesus for doing so... when He returns.
