Flick has clearly stated that how never interested in signing a long term deal. He always wanna get pressure that can motivate him to perform better as a manager. That's why he always only wanted to secure one - two year contract extension.
I see nothing wrong with Flick's decision. It's because one year contract is always pushing him to manage his team better and remain consistent. I only hope him always doing well.
Don't get it twisted or hyped, Hansi Flick is the best thing that have ever happen to Barcelona in the last decades when it comes to managers. We know he's yet to win the UEFA champions league, alot of things on his mind already. Hansi Flick is this type of manager that always want the very best and not keeping any room for excuses. I can proudly say Barcelona are lucky enough to have him in the club, he's making rounding structure in Barcelona, adopting a new game pattern and things happening effectively and swiftly. The way they play, reviving the Tiki-Taka pattern in the club. That have always been their style but other coaches failed to implement it.
