- How do you deal with near misses?
I've had many near misses before untill I had the wrongest one ever in my life way back 2015, I placed a total of 15 different games in sport betting and the total of 14 games already won, then the integration of cashing out wasn't available tho, I predicted on Everton to win Hull City when at 70th minutes, Everton was still winning, I immediately felt relaxed feeling like I've cross the lines. So after the match ended, I was joyfully checking out the score lines while shockingly saw hull city equalized the game to 1:1. I threw away my phone with anger boiling in my heart to the point my roommate screamed out loud for help, my phone got scattered and spoilt beyond repair. Infact, I was shocked to have exhibited that kinda character until I got over the emotions but it took me time.
Since then, I don't check out the results when my predictions are looking like one game to cutting the whole games , it's really annoying and it can cause someone damage home gadgets unknowingly, it's something to be careful with.
It's no doubt emotions can have its way and control us when we have near misses, especially when we have our hopes high on the outcomes and have already counted your chicks before the eggs hatched

.
I also have another near miss I would like to share, this one comes from an ignorant point of view, but I still think it fits into the near miss corner. Back then in 2014 when fixed match was still on the rise, I bought a certain game from a facebook user William James, it had three matches, a Chelsea correct score of 3:0 and other two draws, unfortunately for me by the time I went to the betting house and placed the bets, the Chelsea game has already Started and without the knowledge of playing live matches, I only plaed the two remaining matches and won about #140k, while the correct score was 10 odds.
Finally all 3 games won and I later found out that I could've placed the game live and won a total of #1.4m which was over $99k back then. I consider this a near miss due to ignorance. I didn't want to start a new topic on near misses caused as a result of ignorance, so I felt like sharing it here, maybe with your suggestions, I can update OP so that we have a new case study to discuss.
