This doesn't sound very convincing. Why would Real Madrid want to let go of Lunin so easily?

I even think he is the heir of Courtois there. He has a great talent so if I were in their place I would absolutely keep him. Kepa is no better than him in my opinion.
There are always a lot of exaggerated assumptions in the media when it comes to Madrid and it's fair to say that it's difficult to lose sight of a club of Madrid's stature, so in the end I don't find it strange.
However, speaking from a layman's point of view it would be ridiculous to let Lunin go and feel good about it just for the sake of trying to sign Kepa.
Although I know that Kepa is still one of the goalkeepers who does have a big name but in the end of course when we talk about progress then Lunin will be much more progressive for now. At least the age he has and if added with more confidence then Lunin is still very reliable like what he did last season when Madrid won La Liga and the Champions League.
