This doesn't just sound unconvincing, it sounds like sheer nonsense. Just last year Real extended Lunin's contract until 2030 and now they want to get rid of him? Lunin is an excellent goalkeeper and it was assumed that he would be the future number one at Real, given that Courtois is not young. I will be very surprised if this is real news and not the invention of journalists or players' agents who are trying to play some kind of game.
Let’s get this straight, Andriy Lunin is a great goalkeeper and still much young that he got many more years under his belt with him just 26 years of age, but he simply can’t out-sit Courtios who is easily among the top three best goalkeepers in the world even if he is in his late years as he is 32 years of age, but he can still do 4 to 5 more years at the top and that will be seriously taking away a very good years off Lunin career with him sitting on the bench. What I am meant to understand on this is It is Lunin himself looking to get out of Real Madrid in search of more playing time which is not bad.
The bad thing will be Real Madrid blocking this move and still wasting him on the bench, I second he should be sold or loaned out for more playing time with Kepa coming in as their back up option for Courtios. Real Madrid can simply have a buy back clause instill in his contract so as to make it easy for them to get him back when they need him
