This doesn't just sound unconvincing, it sounds like sheer nonsense. Just last year Real extended Lunin's contract until 2030 and now they want to get rid of him? Lunin is an excellent goalkeeper and it was assumed that he would be the future number one at Real, given that Courtois is not young. I will be very surprised if this is real news and not the invention of journalists or players' agents who are trying to play some kind of game.

Maybe the request came from the Ukrainian goalkeeper. Because goalkeepers want to play all the time, and also Lunin had a great season, he won the Champions League last year and he contributed a lot to this. He deserved a little more this year but he couldn't do it and was on the bench. Maybe now he has found a team that wants him, like Manchester United. He wants to go to that team and be the main goalkeeper, sometimes money or the big size of the club can be sacrificed for your career.
