To start, even if I like Cybertruck, I will never buy a $200k car from a company without any history in the field. I don't think or say that Elon or Tesla are bad, but for sure, they don't have the knowledge of other companies in this field. Offering a car of this value, it should be without any problems, no matter which company produces it. It's not a phone or an experimental product. That's me, and I don't judge others if they do buy it.
As a Tesla owner that you are, you have a different view and perspective, but that doesn't mean that everybody else is lying. Personally, I wouldn't want my $200k car to be recalled or need any fix other than some usuals that all companies do.
By the way, proactively means that they knew it and it was better for their benefit to make a move before they got a lawsuit. They don't do it to protect their clients but themselves. It cost far less...

Something tells me you won't ever have to worry about driving a $200K car...
