I have only been hearing about this where some gambling sites regulates their players on the amount to wager when they have been winning too consecutively.

I learnt such gambling companies do that due to signals that such players are cheaters and while the bookies could not make proof of the suspiciousness to hold the player handicap with legal offensive charges, they fears how long they(house edge) will keep loosing to the bettor (s) despite them (house edge) being in better chances to win while the bettors bettor was ought to loose more.

I think such companies either do that if they don't have enough bankrolls to keep loosing to such players so, they limits them on wager that can be affordable on the regular winnings.
