Maybe he has DNA of the those greats that you mentioned but paying up to 115M (100M + 15M in bonuses) for him was stupid and I said that when it happened and I am gonna repeat it now. He was a player that wasn't even guaranteed a spot in Brighton when you took him. On the other hand Kante was main player for that Leicester side and proven player when transfer happened.

No way Caicedo was worth more than 50M at that point in his career. Best deal ever for Brighton.
