They spent a lot of money for player purchases and salary so it's reasonable why they have expected to win titles. They must take care of their club development including titles before they can take care of a bigger mission - the growth of Saudi Professional League and Saudi Arabia national team. Bigger misson needs contributions of many clubs and for national team growth, it requires more and better youth player academies across Saudi Arabia.
This defeat is very unlucky for Al Nassr because they actually created enough opportunities for at least having a 3 - 3 draw, but it's football and it's not their match. They have to complete remaining matches in this season and use coming weeks for sit back, do assessment on their issues and make plans for a next summer transfer season and next season.
Back to Al Nassr, for the next match they will face a fairly tough match, where for the match in the 30th week they will face Ittihad. The match will take place at the Al Awwal Park stadium which is Ittihad's home ground. This will be a tough match for CR7 and his friends, but to maintain their position in 3rd place in the standings and try to shift Al Hilal's position from 2nd place, Al Nassr must be able to bring home 3 points from the Al Awwal Park stadium.
Al Ittihad are so strong in this season and outperform both Al Hilal and Al Nassr, and they have super high chance to win Saudi Professional League title. Al Nassr can take over a second position from Al Hilal but even they achieve it, it won't be enough to heal their failures and pains in this season.
