Congrats for Villa. They win the game against Fulham with narrow score, but not expected them must be going through a hard way against Fulham. They played badly in this game. They being quite sloppy, but still win. They still take the three points to compete for the UCL spot.
I know how bad or good their gameplay doesn't really matter anymore when it comes to the late season. What they really needed is the result, though emery seems not happy with the way his team played in this game. Three points still three points.
Quite a tense match, considering Aston Villa did not appear optimal enough in this match, despite 53 percent possession, but the final result was not satisfying. 1 goal created by Youri Tielemans in the 12th minute was a good start, thinking Emery's men would dominate the game by creating more goals, but in reality they have not managed to do that, even the score was almost balanced after Fulham managed to penetrate the Aston Villa goal through Ryan Sessegnon's kick, only for the goal to be disallowed due to handball.
Anyway congratulations to Aston Villa for the win, they are currently level on points with Chelsea and Nottingham and only 2 points adrift of Newcastle, they still have a chance to chase the top four to secure a place in the UCL.
