I was in a wedding today where the groom was asking to do 20 pushups to proof that he can be able to take care of his bride and I was really surprised. I initially thought it was arranged but later got to know that it's part of their traditional marriage rites that a man must prove that he is capable before he is given a woman. There were only two options for you to prove it, first is receiving 20 strokes of Cain while the second is 20 pushups.

Wow.. Yes.. you are describing more reasons that each of us should make sure that we are not overly laxing in our fitness levels. If I were to have such a choice, then I would rather do 20 pushups rather than receive 20 cane strokes.
