To be able to finish in the top 5 of the standings and get a ticket to the champions league, mcnchester city only needs to win 2 of the remaining 3 matches, and I think that is very possible for mancester city to get.
Regarding aston villa, they performed very well in the champions league this season even though in the end their journey had to stop in the quarter-finals of the UCL by being defeated by PSG. But for an underdog team like Aston villa, this is a very extraordinary achievement. So I think they deserve to be able to play again in the champions league next season. But it is very unfortunate that their position in the EPL standings is still outside the top 5 of the standings, hopefully at the end of the season they can achieve it.
And just for additional information, Manchester City's opponents in the remaining three matches are Southampton, Bournemouth, and Fulham. Facing Southampton I think this will be a fairly easy match for Pep Guardiola's team to win, but for the matches against Bournemouth and Fulham, it seems like this will be quite difficult matches.
