Today's KKR and Rajasthan Royals match ended in an incredibly breathtaking atmosphere. 22 runs were needed in the last over but those 22 runs were very difficult for Rajasthan Royals but even though Shubam Dubey took 20 runs in one over with two sixes and a boundary, they ultimately had to lose by one run.
If Shubam Dubey had been as aggressive in the last over as he was in the 17th and 18th overs, then he would not have had to concede 22 runs in an over towards the end. Rajasthan Royals could have secured the win long ago but they put the team in a difficult situation by conceding five runs in the 17th and 18th overs, which ultimately led to a one-run defeat. Such a defeat is truly painful and unacceptable.
I would still blame Shubam Dubey. He should have been aggressive right from the beginning. You can't afford too many dot balls, when the required run rate is more than 10 runs per over. Dubey took too much time to settle down, and as a result a lot of pressure was applied on Riyan Parag at the other end. And this resulted in Parag getting out.
Even in this throughout season things were not favourable for Rajasthan Royals but in today lost only person who can be blamed is Shubam Dubey he needed to be stayed on one strategy and keep hitting because this was working for him and his team was also having good advantage of his hitting.
KKR was in big trouble at the end but thanks to this poor end for Rajasthan Royals allow them to have win in this game and keep alive their hopes for having spot into top four Rajasthan Royals now ended their campaign with 9th defeat. Shimron Hetmyer is another guilty of this lost as he also fails to keep things on balance in this crucial game and veteran Sunil Narain and Varun Chakravarthy done good job now it's interesting how far they can go in this season.
