With the number of changes the Manchester United coach made in the starting eleven I thought it would have had a great impact on the team's performance but rather the reverse was the case, they couldn't even maintain the lead till the end of the first half,

perhaps it was obvious that they were going to lose the match at the end of the game but doesn't really matter because they have a far more important game at hand in the Europa league within the week.
Ruben Amorim can't do much to salvage Manchester United reputation in the Premier League, I think The Red Devils this season qualify to be called a mediocre team. Manchester United defeat to Brentford is no longer surprising, because the home team essentially performed much better, and they deserved the additional three points. We understand that the Europa League matches are Ruben Amorim main priority at the moment, but that cannot be the primary excuse for continuing to play poorly in the Premier League. In the last 6 matches, Manchester United has failed to secure a single victory.
Obviously there isn't much the Manchester United boss can do at the moment because it is beyond his ability to make things right, probably if the right players were at his disposal then maybe things wouldn't have been the way they are right now at the club, the team's loss to Brentford was inevitable because the coach had to improvise a bit due to the game they have to play against Athletic Bilbao in the Europa League 2nd leg at home and due to the importance of this game the coach had to alter his team and I don't blame him for that.
