It is better to have a poor strategy than no strategy at all. We often focus on luck and forget about strategies. And in my opinion, this is the key for a person who sets a goal in gambling to make money, and not just to enjoy a random win. But in my opinion, people underestimate most strategies. You have a strategy and you are trying to figure out how good it is. I would suggest comparing it to a blind game, in which you have no strategy. So, we can compare no strategy with a poor strategy. Most likely, a poor strategy will just drain your money more slowly. But isn't that better than losing quickly, lol?

If your poor strategy is actually a bad strategy, then it will lose you more money than if you had no strategy. So the question really is just how you would rate strategies from good to poor without knowing beforehand whether it will bring you more wins?
