In as much as Liverpool has already won the league I would have thought they should also try to play for respect and also to build a formidable legacy and history but that wasn't the case today as they lost 3:1 to Chelsea.
I did not watch the match so I was following the live score, on looking at the squad Liverpool used I even felt more embarrassed because many of their first team players started the match.
But on any thoughts Chelsea is fighting for a place in Europe so their hunger today just surpassed Liverpool's own who are already champions of the league
Chelsea started the match fast and took an early lead with Enzo Fernández scoring in the 3rd minute. Chelsea made good use of this lead and scored more goals in the rest of the match.
Cole Palmer was one of the best players of the match for Chelsea with his penalty goal and general play. Liverpool, on the other hand, were superior in possession and pressure but lacked in the final shots today.
Chelsea had more presure in this match and they need a win badly and thats why they won. Liverpool didnt care much about this match because they won the title and thats why they couldnt score many goals because they were lacking focus in finishing.
