With all this talk about national reserves, that idea basically means governments would be buying Bitcoin which means they could become even bigger players than institutional investors, since they have access to public resources.
Yeah, all this talking is all about government buying Bitcoin in large number quantity to have high shear in Bitcoin and this will boost Bitcoin growth because those large numbers will reduce the numbers of Bitcoin in circulation.

They could buy as much as they want, and if multiple countries start doing this, they’ll end up owning a huge piece of the pie.
Yes and of course this will increase the price of Bitcoin if government buy a large number of Bitcoin, institutional body buys and individual follow suit, Bitcoin will boom higher because demand d will increase than supply.

Now the question is -- is that really what we want to see?
Of course that is what everyone wants to see. Because that will eventually increase Bitcoin price.

And more importantly, will ordinary people still benefit from it?
Of course everyone will benefit from it including the ordinary people, because the amount anyone has in his wallet will increase if government or institutional company have to buy it.
