I don't really have a problem with them buying Bitcoin and I don't really care about their actions because Bitcoin was created to be owned by everyone and everyone who wants to own it.
If the government wants to buy, it's not prohibited and I'm okay with it.
And more importantly, will ordinary people still benefit from it?
Of course. People who already own Bitcoin and still buy it regularly, even if it's not as much as the government is buying, will still "benefit" from Bitcoin.
