Something I kept asking myself when I read this news was the following:
If the Real Madrid coach is leaving, then why did they rush to close a deal with Trent Alexander Arnold?
Because it would make more sense to wait for the season to end, then the Real Madrid coach would leave the team and the Real Madrid board would hire another coach and that new coach would decide who to hire or not. But it seems to me that it is not the coaches who decide who to hire, but rather the club's top management. The next coach will have a lot of headaches if Carlo Ancelotti really leaves.
The reason is obvious. Madrid can get a world class RB for free. Where do you get someone who equal to the TAA's level without even paying the fees? It will be very weird if you're still questioning it when we know how RB has become madrid's loophole this season.
Real Madrid are very lucky to get world class players for free they've done it with several other players in their squad in seasons before now, Trent is a good signing, a world class RB and that's what they really needed him, atleast that loophole won't be there no more after Trent moves from Liverpool to Real Madrid, it's a big lose to Liverpool since they didn't benefit a dime from Trents transfer.
I believe that the new coach would be pleased with this deal, Real Madrid had to act fast before Liverpool convince Trent to renew his contract and becomes costly in the transfer this summer, atleast they've secured him for free and the RB position is settled for the next incoming coach, it's not as if they signed a developing player, Trent is a world and one of the best in that position.
