I don't think that disabling signatures would make difference. If someone is biased, even if signatures would be disabled, he still would be biased
Your mentioned volunteers, scam busters, investigators also often wear signatures? Are they're biased too?

I don't know why you responders take him seriously, this is an alt account that has been busted in the Reputation section and this thread is because of it. When he argues in the section no one listens to him or goes against him and that is why he wants the signatures removed.

That's not something unexpected that OP is altc account of someone, I would be more surprised if that would be main account. But actually, it's not worst ever question raised here, so, probably this is why most people took it seriously.
