A simple comparison between Aziz Yıldırım and Ali Koç presidency eras at Fenerbahçe. Only 1 Turkish Cup trophy in 7 years is just terrible. But he still doesn't want to step down from his position. Sad

Galatasaray isn't doing this for example. They have seen many different presidents in years. But this isn't a very common thing to be seen at Fenerbahçe. This is the main problem of not being able to win the Super League for years.

I think Fenerbahçe is too big to depend on these two names. The main problem is that while Galatasaray has had many presidential candidates and many presidents, Fenerbahçe has only had these two names in the last 30 years. Those who don't want Ali Koç naturally don't want to vote for Aziz Yıldırım, since he is the only option left. There are dark periods as well as successes. Many Turks remember those dark times. In fact, almost none of the clubs have a clean president and nobody wants to be president except a few people. I attribute this to the fact that football has become a sport that is very much involved in politics and dirty relations. When there is so much money involved, there is no clean game.
Fenerbahçe is a very big club but you are right about the president. There are not many presidential candidates and they want to continue with Ali Koç who is unsuccessful. I find this meaningless. If a technical director is unsuccessful at the head of a team, he is dismissed from the team. The same should be applied to the club president. Fenerbahçe achieved almost no success during his term. That is why I found it illogical for him to even be re-elected.
