I agree... The only way for Arsenal to have a real threat is by dropping Ødegaard and starting with Nwaneri instead [he's one of the few Arsenal players who can actually break down defenses, but Arteta keeps starting Ødegaard and doesn't substitute him until there's literally no time to make a real difference for our subs].
You know, so many people won't agree with this because they are literally not seeing what we are seeing. I watch every game week in and out, and the manager keeps making same mistake. I told a fellow gunner recently that Arteta's soft heart for players might cost him his job. Odegaard's decline in performance started after recovering from his injury. Against Real Madrid in both legs, he literally ghosted the team when they needed him the most. Rice being a very consistent type stepped up and changed the game.
With the game tomorrow, I strongly believe that they can fight their way. PSG used a man-marking tactics the last time, and unfortunately for Arsenal, Rice was playing as DM. I don't think they would want to apply something similar, because man-marking only Saka would automatically make Rice the man of the match if everything eventually goes well. I hope Odegaard steps up for the team, but if he fails, Arteta shouldn't think twice.
