You're right cloud mining has become a too in the hands of scammers as many people has lost money mining crypto currency from these so called remote sources that cloud mining offers, it has lost followership because many people has gotten scammed in the process and there eyes are now open to reality on ground
Someone tried to sell this cloud mining idea to me some years ago. Why I didn't fall for it is because from past experience I learned not to go into something I don't completely understand. And I was more hesitant to join because the individual was emphasizing more on the profit to be made rather than hitting the on the head.
As much as the profit looked mouth watery I didn't invest because, the person obviously didn't know and couldn't explain to me how it works.
